Heather McPherson

Heather McPherson is the Vice President of Impact at S2G Ventures, where she leads S2G's impact measurement & management (IMM) and ESG practice. The IMM takes a cross-team approach to integrate practices throughout S2G's investment process and drive impact value creation for portfolio companies. She joins S2G from Builders Vision, where she supported an integrated approach to IMM across Builders Asset Management, Builders Initiative Investment team, and S2G. Heather previously led impact measurement, management, and acceleration initiatives at SJF Ventures. Prior to SJF, she helped launch Impact Capital Managers (ICM), a network of private capital fund managers investing for impact and market-rate returns that now represents more than $100B in impact-focused capital. Heather earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and graduated from Carleton College with a BA in English Literature.
