Rachel O’Connell is an Associate at S2G Ventures. Her responsibilities include the research, evaluation and execution of potential investments. She is interested in the intersection of quality, efficiency and sustainability in the food industry with a particular passion for fresh ingredients and inventive restaurant concepts. As the world is experiencing rapid changes in supply, demand and distribution of resources, she is excited and inspired to be part of team helping to accelerate this change by providing capital to innovative and disruptive companies from “soil to shelf.”
Prior to S2G Ventures, Rachel was a consumer investment banking Analyst at Robert W. Baird in Chicago. In this role, she focused on sell-side M&A execution and equity offerings for public and private companies across a wide range of consumer segments. Rachel graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business.
